OVERVIEW – PROCEDURES FOR EXPORT TEXTILE AND GARMENTS TO EUROPE
Electronic products, components, machinery, textiles, footwear, agricultural products, computers, seafood, etc. are the main export items of Vietnam to the EU market.
In the near future, Vietnam will sign the EVFTA agreement, the EU-Vietnam free trade agreement, so about 71% of tariffs on Vietnamese goods exported to the EU will be removed. And the period to proceed to delete the remainder is 7 years maximum.
This opens up a great opportunity for Vietnamese goods to be exported to the EU. Now I would like to share the procedure for exporting textiles to Europe.
EXPORT PROCESS OF TEXTILES TO EUROPE
Currently, with the customs declaration for garments specified in Circular 38/2015/TT-BCT and Circular 39/2018/TT-BCT, textile and garment products are exported as normal items. Just provide a full set of documents: Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (required EVFTA form for EU tax reduction), Customs declaration.
Note that this item is declared by product name as follows: Name, Material Composition, Specification, Textile Technology (woven, knitted or non-woven), Use, Yarn Density or Quantity.

CUSTOMS PROCEDURES – PROCEDURES FOR EXPORT TEXTILES TO EUROPE
After packing the goods, make an invoice, packing list to summarize the set of documents including:
Invoice, Packing List
Bill of Lading
Certificate of Origin (C/O)
Customs declaration
In which C/O will be an important document for the European party to be exempt from tax. Good luck.
