DT8 rice is grown in many areas in the Mekong Delta.
DT8 rice grows 3 crops a year: Winter – Spring crop, Summer – Autumn crop, Autumn – Winter crop.)
DT8 is a high quality rice variety that has been researched and selected by the Vietnam Seed Corporation (Vinaseed) and is the main rice variety in the Mekong Delta rice bowl as well as the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands.
